Lord will You?

Hi friend,

Greg and I are carrying a heaviness in our hearts. Too frequently we learn of another friend or family member facing a harsh health challenge. My brother has received a devastating diagnosis. Our niece battles unrelenting and debilitating health conditions. And their caregivers are selflessly and with enormous love helping them the best they can, while feeling overwhelmed, worried and exhausted.

These are the moments that bring into perspective what matters most in our lives

and what doesn't.

These are the moments that shine a spotlight on the trivial things we allow to rattle us and spark impatience or anxiety.

These are the moments when we call on God—

with the hardest questions and the deepest pleas.

Does some of this resonate with you?

Are you a caregiver or needing care?

Are you in a heavy or confusing season?

Or facing a deep disappointment or loss?

Jeremiah 29:12 says, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you."

We're trying to bring all our fears, our confusion, our grief and our questions to God. Even though we know He's always with us, aware and listening— sometimes it's hard to sense His Presence. Yet scripture says we can safely bring all of this to Him.

"...pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge." Psalms 62:8

-------------------------------------------

Lord will You…

lift when we fall?

mend when we break?

rekindle our light when

we’re empty and dark?

sustain even when

our strength drains?

hold our soul when

we lose heart?

love and resuscitate when

our faith evaporates?

sing through us when

we’re silent in suffering?

Lord will Your…

promise support us

when answers escape us?

vision reveal a path

we can’t see?

Spirit seal our

leaking hope?

O God…

somewhere deep within

lie remnants

of the Truth that

calmed our soul

we try to hold firm

it's impossible

for us to do

on our own

once Your restoration starts

You gently gather

broken parts

will we feel

the renewal of our

trust in what's True?

once again

may it be so

may it be so

Amen

"For I hold you by your right hand—I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, 'Don't be afraid. I am here to help you'" Isaiah 41:13

God is there--He cares---He walks and sometimes may have to carry you. He is sovereign. He doesn't want us to fear but that is hard sometimes. 🙏

So so true Carol. We can all take such comfort in that. We love, "He walks and sometimes may have to carry you." God bless you friend! ❤️❤️

The last five years have been full of suffering, cancer, recurrence of cancer, open heart surgery. It has been rough. Well aware of my human condition. I keep praying. Phil

Hi Phil, we're so sorry for the enormous suffering you've been enduring. That's too much for any person to go through. Our hearts are with you. Father God, we lift Phil and his suffering to You. We ask for healing and complete recovery. For strength and comfort in the midst. For Your tender mercies and protection over him. And for You to help him in all the ways he needs most. May it be so God. Amen God's peace, mercy and grace to you Phil.

We offer all we create to Jesus—for His purposes.

We dedicate our ministry to our parents, who were our dearest friends and encouragers:

Al and Lorraine Karpiak, Bob and Pat Ferguson. And to our niece, Carolyn.

Carolyn is one of the most loving and courageous people you'll ever meet. She's been battling chronic illness for decades. Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Chemical Sensitivity, Chronic Intractable Migraine, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. POTS, Chiari Malformation and other debilitating conditions. There's an urgent need  for more doctors who are aware and trained to treat these conditions.
